Bottling machines have a big range of variations. This machine in the picture is a fully automatic bottling machine. It bottles up to 12 000 bottles an hour. This machine does the rinsing cycle, the filling cycle and the capping of the bottles fully automatically. Different types of wine can be bottled, and different types of capping can be done. 

Not all wineries have their own bottling department, this depends on the scale of the winery. Small wineries often don’t have their own bottling department. They make use of bottling companies. A new concept has been developing lately, it’s a mobile bottling truck. It’s basically a bottling machine inside a truck. This truck drives to wineries, which doesn’t have bottling machines, to bottle the wine. The whole process happens inside the truck.
